Pink October is Here!!
In India, we are now witnessing more and more numbers of patients being diagnosed with breast cancer in the younger age groups. Breast cancer is now the most common cancer in most cities and 2nd most common in rural in India. Early detection can prevent death. Not preventing, preventable death due to lack of information and awareness is a shame and when it happens amongst us it is a lingering pain for not taking timely action!!. Looking back, we have lost more than one in our own circle of family and friends. October is breast cancer awareness month and it is branded as Pink October in the health and wellness community.
