How do we eradicate domestic violence in India?

Gender equality is more than a goal. It is necessary for meeting the challenge of reducing poverty, promoting sustainable development & building good governance. Domestic violence is a pattern of coercive control that one person exercises over another. Abusers use physical& sexual violence, threats, emotional insults & economic deprivation as a way to dominate their victims.

Did you know that 31% of married women in India have experienced physical, sexual or emotional violence. Providing safety and sense of value to Women is the need of the hour and is the key to achieve overall socio-economic development and for India to emerge as a superpower” I invite moonshot ideas for equality challenges for international women day.
